I designed this poster (originally for A1 size) in order to help promote Ashraya Initiative for Children, a student led NGO who, at the time, was preparing to provide home for street children in India. It was done as a voluntarily work for them.

From the mission statement on www.ashrayainitiative.org:

The Ashraya Initiative for Children is a home for street children that works to foster the spirit of a family environment and to counter the negative stereotypes that marginalize this population. The home facilitates holistic physical, mental, emotional, and social development among the children, nurturing individual growth while promoting community values. Our mission is to provide the opportunity for conventional schooling alongside technical skills training and supplementary cultural, environmental, arts, and social service programs in order to allow the children to pursue areas of their interest. The hope is to help these underprivileged/disadvantaged children attain economic independence as they approach adulthood and provide the means for a positive integration into society with a sense of dignity and self-worth, belonging, and a desire to continue serving their communities.

Japanese version was produced as well, for their promotion in Japan.
